About Majmaah University
Al-Majmaah University is one of the newest universities in the dear homeland, which has joined a system of many and large scientific edifices to become one of the tributaries of university education and an edifice from which the people of Al-Majmaah governorate and the governorates within the university’s scope are waiting for a lot to offer them. The establishment of this university came upon the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Council of Higher Education – may God have mercy on him – on 3 Ramadan 1430 AH corresponding to August 24, 2009 AD with three other universities in Dammam, Al-Kharj and Shaqra governorates. Under this decision, nine existing colleges were joined with three colleges under construction for Majmaah University, including a number of governorates and centers, which are Majmaah – Zulfi – Ghat – Ramah – Hotat Sudair. In order for this university to complete its education system and achieve the goal of the Ministry of Higher Education to expand university education to include all parts of the Kingdom. This university is for the local community. While working on serving the community extensively in several social, awareness, educational and training fields with the possibility of raising the level of functional and organizational performance of government agencies and establishments by providing advanced courses and consultations in the specialties available at the university. Through scientific research, programs and studies that are consistent with the future vision of this university, to achieve its lofty mission and reach its goals, which it plans to reach, God willing. The stages of establishing this university culminated in the issuance of Royal Decree No. A/194, dated 30 Dhu al-Hijjah 1430 AH corresponding to December 17, 2009 AD, appointing Dr. Khalid bin Saad bin Muhammad al-Muqrin as Director of Majmaah University at the excellent rank. To start work in this university in a broader way, and steps are accelerated to develop the existing faculties and continue to establish new faculties and agree to add departments and specializations needed by the labor market so that this university can follow in the path of development and advancement with an optimistic view of a bright future for this emerging university to be an advanced scientific beacon, referred to as standing among similar universities The other with pride, honor and distinction, thanks to God and then thanks to the support and support provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques through the large budget that has been approved for the university.

External Grants Admission requirements for external grant students (for students from outside the kingdom):
- Students of external scholarships are subject to the admission requirements that apply to Saudis at the university.
- The student’s age shall not be less than (17) years and not more than (25) years.
- The student should not have obtained another scholarship from an educational institution in the Kingdom.
- The certificates and identification papers must be attested by the Saudi embassy or the cultural attaché in the student’s country.
- Not to have been dismissed from one of the educational institutions in the Kingdom.
- That the government of the student’s country agree to study in the Kingdom for countries that require that for Saudi students.
- That the student be denied a certificate without precedents from the security services in his country.
- To have a mahram with the student, in accordance with the regulating instructions, provided that he is covered by a grant, has a regular residence, or submits to the register of an employer who needs his services.
- To pass the medical examination decided by the university.
- The university may require the student’s recommendation from one of the bodies, institutions or personalities specified by the university.

Majmaah University Funding
Financing is determined after acceptance, and it is usually full financing, including a monthly salary, housing, airline tickets, and others.

Required document:
Documents to be attached electronically when submitting an application for admission to an external scholarship:
- The original high school completion certificate + a translated copy in Arabic (if the certificate is in a language other than Arabic).
- The original transcript of grades + a translated copy in Arabic (if the certificate is in a language other than Arabic).
- The original valid passport.
- The original birth certificate.
- A recent, color photograph.
(To avoid excluding the application, it must be ensured that the documents are uploaded clearly and accurately by uploading them through the scanner and from the original document).
General provisions:
1- Acceptance of external scholarships at Majmaah University is currently restricted to males only.
2- The scholarship applicant shall be subject to the residency regulations in the Kingdom.
3- The student is on the university record during the scholarship.
4- The scholarship applicant is not entitled to transfer from one university to another, and the university has the right to make an exception in the cases it deems appropriate.
5- The external scholarship applicant is prohibited from working for companies, institutions or individuals during the study period.
6- The scholarship applicant shall be subject to the rules, regulations, and instructions in force at the university.
7- All majors are accepted, except for health majors, as their acceptance is limited to Saudi students only.
Documents required after the final nomination for admission to the university:
After the final nomination, the student, upon his arrival to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, must bring the originals of the following documents, to be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Saudi embassy in the country of the student, along with a certified translation into Arabic of the required documents, which are:
- The original high school completion certificate + a translated copy in Arabic (if the certificate is in a language other than Arabic).
- The original transcript of transcripts + a copy translated into Arabic (if the certificate is in a language other than Arabic).
- The passport is valid for a period of no less than two years from entering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Recent and colorful personal photos.
A certificate of absence of precedents from the security services in the student’s country.

Scholarship Expiry:
The external scholarship student must leave the Kingdom after completing his studies, within a period not exceeding three months from the date of its completion. If the original program period has expired, it may not be extended by more than half of it.
